A painter trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Sabadell and the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, Raimon Roca was a student of Vila Arrufat, from whom he learned to create murals and stained-glass windows. In 1941, he exhibited for the first time at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sabadell, and from then on he exhibited his work in Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid. From 1950 until the mid-1960s, Roca devoted himself primarily to mural painting, creating various religious murals in Begur, Hevia, Calella, Sabadell, and elsewhere, although he also produced works on paper and designed several stained-glass windows. In 1968, he resumed exhibiting in Bilbao, Barcelona, and other Catalan towns. He exhibited at La Pinacoteca in Barcelona in 1978 and at the Intel•lecte gallery in Sabadell in 1984. His paintings encompass landscapes, still lifes, flower paintings, figures, and compositions. His works are currently included in various private collections.
