This is a work of great visual and technical power by Cuban artist Juan Guillermo Garcés Sigas. It is a piece that exemplifies contemporary art that fuses realistic figuration with three-dimensional and symbolic elements. Although it is a single large-format canvas, the composition functions as a triptych. It presents three views of the male torso: front, profile and back, allowing for an exhaustive and almost obsessive anatomical study.
