Set of two ornamental friezes made in silver, conceived as an integral part of an Art Deco piece of furniture.
an integral part of an Art Deco piece of furniture circa 1930. Each piece is richly decorated
decorated with motifs of clear Pharaonic inspiration, a reflection of the Egyptomania
that permeated the decorative arts after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922.

One of the friezes presents a succession of Egyptian divinities (Isis, Horus,
Thot, Anubis, Hathor, among others) together with characteristic attributes and hieroglyphs.
The second frieze is decorated with a series of hieroglyphic cartouches arranged in a row, evoking the
