This is an exquisite tea and coffee set made by Tiffany in the mid 1950's. It is an Art Deco inspired design, common in the silverware of the period, with clean volumes. All pieces feature faceted sides, smooth panels and even rich decoration with engravings on the rims and lids, evidence of high quality workmanship.

Tiffany & Co. silverware is world famous and is distinguished by its high quality, its innovation in design and its historical relevance, particularly during the 19th and 20th centuries. During the 20th century the firm continued to adapt to new styles, with the fluid and naturalistic designs of Art Nouveau and the geometric and stylized lines of Art Deco.
