Pair of two-armed candelabra, made in translucent rock crystal and finely worked silver mounts, which combine the geometric purity of the Art Deco style with a symbolic and figurative ornament of historicist inspiration.

Each candelabra is organized in several levels of composition, in which the architectural glass structure, formed by carved geometric blocks (square base, rectangular shaft and arms built with overlapping prisms), is enriched with sculptural applications in silver.

At the base, heraldic animals (guard dogs or lions) support the crystal bodies, acting as protective figures. Above them, on a second level, dragon heads emerge from the corners, providing a fantastic and decorative accent. The central shaft incorporates a female torso in silver that is imbued with Hellenistic and Egyptian stipites.

The arms culminate in silver bowls in the form of rounded rosettes, while plant and foliate motifs discreetly run along the lower part of the metal structure.

In its balance between modernity and evocation of the past, this pair of candelabra is a splendid example of the reinterpretation of classicism within the Art Deco language, reflecting both the technical sophistication and the taste for the combination of noble materials that characterized the decorative art of its time.
