In steel. White colored dial with luminescent applied hour markers and Tag Heuer's signature luminescent hands to ensure readability in low light conditions, essential in an airplane cockpit. Three sub-dials for chrono seconds, hours and minutes. Chronograph 1/10 chronograph hand and central chronograph hand. Nautical and land mile scale. Bidirectional rotating bezel. Sapphire crystal. Auxiliary window for date calendar at 4 o'clock. Fluted crown at 3 o'clock flanked by double gaskets that guarantee its water resistance. Double pusher for chrono control. Quartz movement. It works.

The "1/10" designation refers to the ability of its chronograph to measure time intervals with an accuracy of one tenth of a second. This was a highly valued feature of quartz chronographs of the time, which surpassed the accuracy of many conventional mechanical chronographs in measuring fractions of a second.
