Marqués de Murrieta is one of the Spanish wineries with the longest history. Its origins date back to 1852, when Luciano de Murrieta started trading his wines in the New World. Its wines come from the 300 hectares of vineyards of the Ygay estate, located at the gates of Logroño, where this winery is also located. In addition to the essential tempranillo, the estate has significant quantities of graciano, mazuelo and garnacha blanca vines.
