Château Pontet-Canet is a red wine from Bordeaux (France) made in the AOC Pauillac, on the left bank of the Médoc, and is classified as 5ème Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Classification. Despite that classification, today it is considered one of the most prestigious and valued châteaux of Pauillac, comparable in quality to superior growths.

It is made mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, accompanied by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and stands out for its biodynamic viticulture (certified), rare among the grands crus. In style, it is a powerful, deep and structured wine, with aromas of black fruit (cassis, blackberry), graphite, spices, earth and mineral notes, firm but fine tannins and great concentration. The palate combines strength and precision, with a long, serious finish, and has excellent cellaring potential, evolving for decades in good vintages.
