A copy of Blecua 1998, one of the most emblematic and prestigious wines of the Somontano Denomination of Origin, presented in the coveted Double Magnum format, highly valued by collectors and experts for its scarcity and superior aging capacity.
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache and Tempranillo grapes from seven vineyards selected among the best in Somontano, Blecua 1998 belongs to one of the great vintages of the decade in the appellation. The wine stands out for its complexity, depth and balance, showing a harmonious evolution and a remarkable cellaring capacity, especially favored by its large format.
The Blecua winery is a small and exclusive property located in the Somontano Denomination of Origin (Aragón), in a historic enclave known as the "Blecua tower", with more than 14 hectares of vineyards in the surroundings of Barbastro and Alquézar. Its philosophy is based on an extremely limited production, making this wine only in exceptional vintages after a strict triple selection of vineyards, clusters and barrels, which has made Blecua one of the most sought-after Spanish wines in its region.
Double Magnum formats offer a slower and more complex evolution of the wine, providing better conservation and aging conditions. Their lower availability on the market means that, at auction, they achieve higher valuations than standard formats.
The images of each lot are the actual images of the object and are an integral part of the cataloging. The buyer accepts that the condition of the wine is shown in the images and/or description. The content, as well as the fragility of the cork and the seal, are not the responsibility of Setdart Auctions.
