Made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache and Tempranillo grapes from seven different vineyards, selected among the best, the Blecua 1998 belongs to one of the best vintages of the decade in the Somontano appellation.

Bodega Blecua is a small and exclusive Spanish winery located in the Somontano Appellation of Origin (Aragón), famous for producing one of the most emblematic and sought-after wines of the region under the name Blecua. The winery is located in a historic setting known as the "Blecua tower", with more than 14 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Somontano, near Barbastro and Alquézar. It focuses on a very limited and selected production, making wines only in exceptional vintages after a strict triple selection of vineyards, clusters and barrels.

The Double Magnum formats are highly appreciated by experts and collectors for their greater aging capacity, offering a slower and more complex evolution of the wine. Their lower availability and better preservation conditions mean that, at auction, they fetch higher prices than standard formats.
