DESCRIPTION
Château Mouton Rothschild, 2000.
Pauillac AOC, Bordeaux, France. Premier Cru Classé.
1 bottle of 0.75 cl.
Condition:
Level: IN (Into Neck). Gold decoration on the front applied directly to the glass, featuring the château’s name, the vintage, and the ram, all legible; shows some wear and superficial marks. The back label is heavily scuffed, with widespread abrasions and losses that partially affect the text and technical details. Black capsule with ornamentation and a gold band, showing slight scuffs and minor surface irregularities, with no obvious breaks visible in the provided photos. No clear external signs of leakage are visible in the photographed areas. The cork remains hidden.
It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
Château Mouton Rothschild 2000 combines the winemaking appeal of a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot with a particularly unique presentation. For this vintage, the château replaced the usual artistic label with a design applied directly to the glass: the Augsburg Ram, inspired by a piece of goldsmith’s work from around 1590 housed in its museum and reproduced using raised enamel. This design closely links the wine to the decorative arts.
