Antonio Peris Carbonell is a Spanish painter and sculptor who trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Valencia and the San Carlos School of Fine Arts. His artistic career began to gain prominence in the late 1970s, when he won several first prizes in national painting and sculpture competitions. His work, marked by a strong symbolic and spiritual dimension, evolved from Expressionism toward a personal artistic language, focused primarily on the human figure, portraiture, and religious themes. He has held more than sixty solo exhibitions and participated in numerous international shows. Notable among his projects are the sculptural ensembles *Christ Through Time* and *St. Francis and the Wolf of Gubbio*. His works are held in various institutional and religious collections, including the Paul Valéry National Museum (France), the Franciscan complex in Rome, and the Archbishop’s Palace in Valencia. In 2012, he inaugurated the Peris Carbonell Museum in Palma de Mallorca, dedicated to bringing together and displaying part of his artistic output.
