In “Crossroads,” Mabel Heredia creates an abstract composition that evokes a crossroads between unknown dimensions and worlds. Part of the “CONTACT” series, the work explores concepts such as energy and movement through a highly expressive gestural language.

The composition is structured by energetic black strokes that crisscross against a background of gray and whitish tones. The spontaneous brushstrokes, small scattered spots, and hallmarks of dense areas and open spaces create a sense of tension and dynamism.

Mabel Heredia is a Valencian artist based in Barcelona whose work focuses on gestural abstraction and the exploration of unknown realities. Her career includes exhibitions at the Thomson Gallery in Zug (Switzerland), the Nicoleta Gallery in Berlin, the Galerie Le Chien d’Or in Quebec, and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
