The Spanish firm Hanbel, founded in 1991, specializes in the design and sale of furniture and home décor items. Its designs are characterized by a blend of classic and contemporary styles, the revival of traditional ornamental forms, and the use of materials and finishes that add character to interior spaces. Throughout its history, the company has developed collections of furniture, lighting, and decorative accessories inspired by various aesthetic traditions, with a particular emphasis on eclectic and ornamental pieces.

This piece, by Hanbel, consists of a decorative box with an oval body and a rounded profile, made of glazed ceramic with an ivory-colored background and profuse polychrome floral decoration. The surface is adorned with plant motifs, flowers, and sinuous stems in shades of green, maroon, ochre, and pink. The lid, with a sculptural design, features plant motifs in relief and brown tones, which are hallmarks of the delicate color palette of the container. The piece reflects a decorative aesthetic inspired by naturalism and historicism, combining the ornamental richness of traditional ceramics with a taste for highly decorative objects intended to embellish interiors. Given its formal characteristics and its connection to Hanbel, the piece falls within the realm of contemporary decorative production, although its specific date and place of manufacture require further documentation.
