This pair of floor lamps is a outstanding example of Jean-Bérenger de Nattes’ limited-edition furniture and lighting production, characterized by a combination of high-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and a highly refined aesthetic. Their refined geometry and architectural proportions evoke the influence of Eastern decorative arts reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility.

With a pronounced verticality, each lamp features a prismatic body covered in leather in a deep burgundy shade, with visible stitching that accentuates its handcrafted character. The composition is completed by an upper structure of straight metal profiles that frames a cubic shade made of Japanese paper. The hallmarks of the smooth surface of the leather, the coolness of the steel, and the delicate translucent texture of the paper create an intriguing dialogue among the materials.

Jean-Bérenger de Nattes is a French designer and interior decorator specializing in limited-edition furniture and decorative objects. His work combines the tradition of French cabinetmaking with influences from Eastern decorative arts, distinguished by the use of fine materials and meticulous craftsmanship. His creations have been showcased by the prestigious Maison Gerard gallery in New York, with appearances at The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show (2010) and the Kips Bay Decorator Show House (2015).
