Molteni & Co Sideboard, ca. 1970

MOLTENI & CO sideboard, ca. 1970.
Possibly designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa.
Oak sideboard with black melamine accents.
In very good condition.
Measurements: 72 x 120 x 41 cm

The hallmarks of the oak and black melamine define this sideboard with its straight lines and asymmetrical layout. The grain of the door adds warmth to the front, while the drawers of varying heights define its composition. It features one door with an interior shelf and six drawers, the top two of which are divided into compartments.

Its combination of oak and black surfaces, along with the clarity of its layout, places it in line with the modern furniture developed by Molteni&C during those years, as part of its collaboration with designers such as Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
