DESCRIPTION

This table lamp reflects the ornamental style of late Art Nouveau, particularly evident in the sinuous and asymmetrical form of the stem, which rises in a continuous curve to support the shade. The structure is embellished with small applied floral motifs, while the base features undulating contours that extend the organic character of the piece.
The metal shade, with a hemispherical profile, combines smooth surfaces with a martelé-textured band and incorporates white glass cabochons with an opalescent appearance. The hallmarks of the bronze structure, the floral motifs, and these glass elements place the piece within the European decorative tradition derived from Jugendstil and Art Nouveau.
