Square Classic Single Flap Bag, 2017–2018.
Made of fuchsia pink “chevron” quilted leather. Features a chain top handle with matching interwoven leather. With a flap closure and a flat pocket on the back. Interior lined in leather of the same color with a zippered pocket. Gold-tone hardware.
Includes an adhesive label.
With interior serial number.
In excellent condition, with slight scuffs on the outer back, small indentations on the outer flap, and slight color transfer on the interwoven leather strap and the outer back leather.

The Single Flap configuration, characterized by a single main flap, offers a simpler construction than that of the Double Flap model. This design preserves the clean lines of the design and enhances its practicality, while retaining the elements that have made the Classic Flap a Chanel icon. The history of this model is linked to the reinvention of the women’s handbag spearheaded by Gabrielle Chanel. In 1955, the designer introduced the famous 2.55, whose chain allowed the bag to be carried over the shoulder, freeing up the hands and adding a new functional dimension to feminine elegance. Decades later, Karl Lagerfeld reinterpreted this legacy with the Classic Flap, which has become one of the house’s greatest icons.
