Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the great names of Pauillac and has held the Premier Grand Cru Classé classification since its historic promotion in 1973. Its vineyards, situated on deep gravel soils, produce wines of great structure, concentration, and longevity, with Cabernet Sauvignon as the dominant variety. The 1998 vintage stands out for its aromas of black currant, cedar, spices, and toasty notes, along with elegant bottle aging. The label features “El Brindis,” a work by Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo, which was posthumously added to the château’s renowned art collection, giving these bottles added appeal for collectors and enthusiasts.
