Designed by Joachim Metz and first released in 1990, the Les Tuileries scarf is inspired by the historic Parisian gardens of the same name, located next to the Louvre Museum. Its design features a symmetrical arrangement of scrolls, plant motifs, and architectural elements that evoke the decorative richness of the railings and balustrades in these gardens, created in the 17th century under the influence of landscape architect André Le Nôtre. In the center, a figurative medallion lends a mythological character to the design.
