Designed in 1972 by Leïla Menchari, artist and renowned creator of Hermès’s window displays, the Regina scarf is one of the maison’s most recognizable floral compositions. Its design features a lush bouquet of flowers, framed by ornamental ribbons and a carefully crafted color scheme, reflecting the artist’s sensibility and attention to detail. Conceived as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to Paris in 1972, the scarf combines Hermès’s tradition of silk printing with botanical-inspired elegance. It has been reissued on several occasions, including for the queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977.
