Its design draws inspiration from the vintage hat boxes that were once part of the leather goods universe of Louis Vuitton, a house founded in Paris in 1854 and renowned for its travel trunks. Those pieces, designed to protect and transport delicate items, serve here as a source of inspiration for a contemporary accessory. The Boîte Chapeau family came to the forefront with the launch of the Petite Boîte Chapeau model in the Cruise 2018 collection. Subsequently, the Souple version introduced a more flexible and functional interpretation of that circular silhouette, preserving its travel-inspired essence while adapting it for everyday use.
