Procedencia: Legado familiar de Ramon Martí Alsina y Ricard Martí Aguiló.
Colección artística y patrimonial cuyo origen se encuentra en el legado de los pintores catalanes Ramon Martí Alsina (1826-1894), figura fundamental del realismo catalán del siglo XIX, y su hijo Ricard Martí Aguiló (1857-1935).

Transmitida y enriquecida a lo largo de sucesivas generaciones, la colección reúne obras procedentes del patrimonio original de ambos artistas, junto con nuevas incorporaciones realizadas por sus descendientes. Estos mantuvieron una especial dedicación a la conservación y recuperación del legado familiar, adquiriendo obras de los propios pintores que iban saliendo al mercado y ampliando progresivamente el conjunto con pinturas, esculturas, piezas arqueológicas y otros objetos de interés artístico e histórico.

Artistic and heritage collection originating in the legacy of Catalan painters Ramon Martí Alsina (1826–1894), a seminal figure of 19th-century Catalan Realism, and his son Ricard Martí Aguiló (1857–1935).

Passed down and enriched across successive generations, the collection brings together works from the original holdings of both artists alongside acquisitions made by their descendants. Dedicated to preserving and recovering the family legacy, the descendants actively reacquired works by the painters as they entered the market, progressively expanding the collection to encompass paintings, sculptures, archaeological artifacts, and other items of artistic and historical significance.
