This work reflects one of the most personal aspects of Lluís Llongueras’s sculptural oeuvre, centered on the human figure and the expressiveness of the body. The female nude is rendered through stylized volumes and a pronounced sinuous line, reinforced by the kneeling position and the tilt of the head. The rougher treatment of the hair and the base is a hallmark of the anatomy, adding visual variety to the piece as a whole.

Alongside his distinguished professional career, Lluís Llongueras was highly active as a sculptor, painter, photographer, and writer. His sculptural work encompassed the human figure, portraiture, and experimental compositions. He exhibited his work regularly and also created public sculpture projects, including *Sparagaria*, installed in his hometown of Esparreguera.
