The Chanel Première watch is one of the most iconic creations in contemporary women’s watchmaking. Introduced in 1987 as the house’s first watch, it was designed by Jacques Helleu, then the brand’s artistic director, with a concept that brought Chanel’s aesthetic codes into the world of fine watchmaking. Its design is distinguished by the octagonal case, inspired by the silhouette of Paris’s Place Vendôme and the cap of the Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle.
