Bottles identified with the numbers 242708, 242709, 242710, 242711, 242712, and 242713. Original wooden case bearing the Alión label and the 2004 vintage.

Alión is one of the leading wines of the Ribera del Duero and represents the Vega Sicilia group’s unique interpretation of the Tinto Fino grape variety. Created with the aim of expressing a more modern and direct style than that of its historic parent winery, the estate combines a careful selection of grapes with aging in oak barrels, which lends complexity and structure. The 2004 vintage, a particularly highly regarded year in the appellation, stands out for its concentration, ripeness, and balance. Its profile features notes of black fruit, plum, sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, and balsamic notes, accompanied by structured tannins and a persistent finish.
