Condition: All six bottles have a BN (Base Neck) fill level. Original maroon capsules, featuring the inscription “ARTADI” and the winery’s emblem at the top, are in good condition. One of the bottles has a front label with considerable deterioration on the right side, featuring extensive dark stains and partial loss of legibility. The remaining front labels remain legible. The back labels are in good condition considering their age. It comes with its original Artadi wooden box.

It comes from a private collection, where it was stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Artadi is one of the leading wineries in Rioja Alavesa, closely linked to the revival of historic vineyards and the individual expression of their terroirs. Founded in Laguardia in 1985, it achieved particular recognition under the direction of Juan Carlos López de Lacalle. Pagos Viejos was crafted from a selection of old Tempranillo vines, with special attention paid to the grapes’ natural concentration and the identity of the soils. The 2002 vintage bears witness to a significant phase in the winery’s evolution and is of particular interest to collectors of great Rioja wines.
