Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the most prestigious estates in Pauillac, elevated to Premier Grand Cru Classé in 1973. Its vineyards, situated on deep gravel soils, produce wines of extraordinary concentration, complexity, and longevity. The exceptional 2005 vintage stands out for its structure, refined tannins, and aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, graphite, and spices. The label was illustrated by Italian artist Giuseppe Penone, a leading figure of the Arte Povera movement, through a composition that connects the human hand with the vine’s organic forms. The combination of a historic vintage, its prestigious classification, and a signature label makes these bottles particularly attractive to collectors.
