Condition: HF (High Fill). The bottles retain their original maroon capsules, which are intact and show slight signs of storage. The front labels, illustrated by Lucian Freud, and the back labels remain intact, firmly attached, and legible, with subtle signs of aging. There are no obvious signs of leakage.

It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Château Mouton Rothschild is one of Bordeaux’s great historical landmarks and one of the five prestigious Premiers Grands Crus Classés, a distinction it earned in 1973. Internationally recognized for the excellence of its wines and its close ties to contemporary art, the château has commissioned prominent international artists to design its labels since 1945. The 2006 vintage features a creation by the renowned British painter Lucian Freud, depicting a zebra next to a palm tree, lending the wine a unique artistic and collectible dimension.
