The official DOQ Priorat back label is preserved and legible, with the number F 269536.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
L’Ermita, produced by Álvaro Palacios in Gratallops, is one of the great benchmarks of the Priorat and of contemporary Spanish viticulture. Sourced from a unique vineyard with steep slopes and licorella soils, it stands out for its concentration, elegance, and extraordinary mineral expression. The 2001 vintage, one of the region’s most acclaimed, offers a profile of great complexity, with notes of ripe black fruit, spices, Mediterranean herbs, and mineral nuances, supported by a refined structure and remarkable length. A wine particularly prized by collectors.
