Condition: All four bottles have a BN (Base Neck) fill level. Original dark maroon capsules, intact, with the inscription “Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5º” and the vintage “1999” embossed on the top. Original main labels, complete and firmly attached, though showing varying degrees of deterioration. All show yellowing and age spots. They exhibit dark and grayish spots of varying intensity, scuffs, and superficial loss of print. The official back labels from the Ribera del Duero D.O. are present on all four bottles, with signs of aging.

It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Valbuena 5th Year is one of Vega Sicilia’s historic wines and offers a unique interpretation of the Ribera del Duero terroir. Produced primarily from Tinto Fino—the local name for Tempranillo—it is characterized by an extended aging process that combines various wooden casks with a period of bottle aging before release. The 1999 vintage offers a profile of ripeness and structure, with the potential to develop aromas of black fruit, sweet spices, cedar, leather, and tobacco.
