Window capital; Spain, 18th century.
Carved marble.
Partially broken.
Measurements: 10 x 15 x 16 cm
Window capital carved entirely from alabaster in the Ionic order, adorned with volutes on all four sides, resting on a truncated pyramidal base decorated with acanthus leaves derived from classical models and carved in relief, and featuring an upper section shaped like a slender cornice.
