An architectural fragment carved from stone, with a molded profile, that retains part of the original configuration of a column or architectural support element. Its design, characterized by striking geometric simplicity and a monumental character, reflects the constructive principles of traditional stone architecture, in which structural elements also served an ornamental function. The surface retains an attractive patina of earthy tones, with irregularities, erosion, and areas of material loss that attest to its age.
