Anthropomorphic figure; Africa, 20th century.
Carved wood.
Measurements: 33 x 11 x 8 cm.
An African anthropomorphic figure carved from wood, consisting of two figures joined together and arranged back-to-back, with stylized bodies, elongated limbs, and rounded heads. Both figures have schematic facial features and are crowned by an arched element that visually unites them, creating a composition of great sculptural interest. The carving, with its simplified forms and pronounced geometry, retains a dark patina with reddish hues, as well as wear and signs of age that enhance its expressive character.
