Glazed porcelain.
Measurements: 46 x 34 cm.
Chinese stool made of porcelain and decorated with polychrome enamels in the Green Family style, with floral motifs and birds on turquoise background. This is a style of Chinese porcelain enameled from the Qing dynasty. It is characterized by a bright green glaze, although other colors such as iron red, blue, yellow and purple appear. This style influenced European porcelain manufacture.
The term was developed by the ceramic historian Albert Jacquemart in the 19th century.
