Hand painted terracotta.
Exhibits sligthly wear consistent with age and use and slight lack of polychrome.
Measurements: 5 x 38 x 38 cm.
Decorative terracotta dish from the Meiji period. It presents a polychrome decoration in bas-relief representing a wise hermit in a landscape environment. Next to him, a small table holds a teapot. The profile of the dish is highlighted with border molding.
