The ceiling panels integrate fabric panels with floral embroidery in the center, surrounded by enameled porcelain plates. The side plates show narrative scenes with figures that seem to represent historical, mythological or classical Chinese literature characters (such as the Eight Immortals or palace scenes).
Small porcelain plates in blue and white with vegetal motifs (lotus and grecas) frame the composition, providing a classical contrast with the polychrome scenes. The whole is structured in dark wood frames with geometric divisions that enhance the character of a luxury decorative panel.
