The iconic Boy Chanel bag was created in the image of the emblematic 2.55 wallet. It is a design inspired by the love story of Boy Capel and the Duke of Wellington, two men in Coco Chanel's life. Specifically, Boy Capel was a man of the world, whose London elegance and sophistication helped Coco finance her first stores until his death in a tragic car accident. Like all Chanel accessories, the Boy has a distinct personality very much in keeping with today's woman, with a design of simple lines and different materials (in leathers ranging from python to crocodile), embroidered or sober, in different colors, sizes and finishes.
