The Hammock is one of Loewe's most recognizable designs under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson. This version, versatile and lightweight, allows multiple forms of use thanks to its transformable design: it can be carried as a handbag, shoulder or crossbody bag, and even with expanded or folded shape depending on how the side structure is adjusted.
Loewe is a Spanish brand that was founded in 1892 by Enrique Loewe Roessberg, a German in love with Spain who moved to Madrid to train as a craftsman in a leather workshop. Not much later, he opened his first store under the name of E. Loewe. Finally, in 1905, King Alfonso XIII granted the brand the title of official supplier to the royal household.
