DESCRIPTION
HERMÈS "Ex-Libris à carreaux" scarf.
Square scarf in natural silk. The design, entitled "Ex-Libris à carreaux", is a creation of designer Anamorphée for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The central motif is based on the iconic Hermès "Ex-Libris," representing the horse-drawn carriage, a symbol of the brand's equestrian origins, originally designed by Alfred de Dreux. This design is reinterpreted on a plaid or tartan pattern background in vibrant shades of fuchsia, pink, orange, blue and brown.
In very good condition.
Measurements: 90 x 90 cm.
The Hermès carré has been an iconic and collector's item since its creation in 1937, valued for its craftsmanship and collaboration with over 150 different artists throughout its history. This particular design combines the brand's historical legacy with a modern and colorful pattern.
