Paolo Santini was a Venetian engraver known for his fine cartographic engravings. He greatly updated the work of other notable cartographers, especially his French counterparts, including Robert de Vaugondy, d'Anville, de l'Isle, Bonne, Jaillot, Clarici, Janvier and Rizzi-Zannoni.
