Hand-knotted carpet from the city of Meshed, northeastern Iran. In this prayer rug, a large floral representation stands out in its central area, distributed from a base of a vase with flowers and two imposing trees whose branches intermingle in the upper part of the chapel.This central field is framed by a border of great aesthetic beauty, thanks to its drawings of intertwined ribbons.The artistic value of this carpet is enhanced by the cartouche with the weaver's signature, located in the upper central part of the border.The state of conservation is perfect, there are no signs of wear.
