Amphoriskos or Amphoriskos of ovoid body has cylindrical neck, mouth in the shape of exvaso with salient edge and oval handles that unite the neck with the shoulder. The decoration consists of a series of yellow glass threads that stand out against the blue of the vessel.
Amphoriskos is a variety of ancient Greek pottery whose shape is reminiscent of that of a small amphora. However, in contrast to the larger amphora, it was probably used as an ointment or fragrance or cosmetic container.
