Qing dynasty censer transformed into a table lamp. China, late 19th century.

Measurements: 89 cm (height) x 50 cm (diameter with shade).
Chinese censer later converted into a table lamp. It has been realized in bronze in the shape of barrel with lid and end with dog Foo, adorned with floral motifs in various colors with cloisonné enamel, a technique that consists of depositing the vitreous paste of the enamel in compartments formed by metal sheets that, in relief, compose the silhouette of the design. The handles take the form of dragons. It sits on a quatrefoil base.
