Large CC Classic Chain bag.
Red lambskin leather with matelassé finish, a diamond quilting, created by Coco Chanel herself in 1955 for the 2.55 bag. Front flap with CC turn-lock closure. Silver hardware. Chain with intertwined ribbon characteristic of the model. Beige canvas interior.
With interior numbering.
Includes sticker and card.
In perfect condition, hardly used.
Measurements: 30 x 29 x 9 cm.

The CC Classic Chain bag, also known as Chanel Classic Flap or Chanel 2.55, is an iconic Chanel shoulder bag, known for its elegant and functional design. It was created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955, being the first shoulder bag for women. Redesigned by Karl Lagerfeld in 1983, it became the Chanel Classic Flap as we know it today.
