The Constance line has been one of the priorities of Hermès for more than fifty years. The bag was first designed by Catherine Chaillet in 1959 and was named in honor of her fifth daughter, Constance, who gave birth the same day the first Constance bag left the Hermès boutique. The Constance model comes in four sizes: mini, micro, 24 cm and finally Elan, which has a slightly wider shape.
