Loewe is a Spanish brand founded in 1892 by Enrique Loewe Roessberg, a German man who fell in love with Spain and moved to Madrid to train as a craftsman in a leather goods workshop. Not long after, he opened his first store under the name E. Loewe. Finally, in 1905, King Alfonso XIII granted the brand the title of official supplier to the royal household.
