DESCRIPTION

Catalan Albarelo of French influence, XVIII century.
Ceramic.
It presents faults in the polychrome. With damage in the mouth. Needs restoration.
Measurements: 28 x 11,5 cm.
Albarelo or pharmacy jar made of ceramic and decorated with cobalt blue enamel on white tin engobe. It presents a typical form of the XVIII century, narrower towards the center. It includes a central cartouche of mitered curves, which houses the inscription indicating its contents, and a highly decorative vegetal background.
