Set of four scarabs carved in hard stones. They are inspired by the scarabs of Ancient Egypt. The scarab was an amulet of life and power in the form of a dung beetle, an animal associated with Jepri, the self-created, god of the rising sun. It is the most common type of Ancient Egyptian amulet, and it has a small size and, in most cases, a hole that allows it to be strung on a necklace. Among the different materials in which the scarabs have been made, basalt, granite, amethyst, lapis lazuli, carnelian, gold and, as in this case, steatite, stand out.
