Measurements: 12 x 24 x 20 cm.
Nineteenth century jewelry box, inspired by the rococo decoration and ornamental design of the time of Louis XV. It has a hexagonal drum structure decorated with gilded bronze tracery, with intricate patterns of leaves, flowers and scrolls in rococo style. A hand-painted porcelain medallion is inserted in the lid, depicting a romantic pastoral scene (three maidens in a flowery field resolved in pastel tones). Cobalt blue porcelain covers the walls of the box, a color that contrasts beautifully with the gold. Highlighted festoons ornament the lid and the flanks. The piece reflects a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, being a clear example of the artistic sophistication and aesthetic values of the European aristocracy of the time. This jewelry box was not only functional, but also a luxury object designed to showcase the wealth and refined taste of its owner.
